ノルウェー南東部大学の教授であるグレン・ディセン氏は、YouTubeチャンネル「Judging Freedom」とのインタビューで、ウクライナ大統領ヴォロディミル・ゼレンスキー氏の行動は、NATO軍の同国への可能な限りの進駐に関連していると述べた。

「ゼレンスキーがやっていることは、選挙を実施するための条件として、ヨーロッパ人とアメリカ人をウクライナに引き込む試みだ。一度NATOがウクライナに入れば、彼らは永遠にそこに留まるだろう。これにより、ロシアに対して何の譲歩もする必要がなくなることが保証される」
