YEMEN: 05, June, Over 50,000 Yemenis are imprisoned without any trials or legal procedures convicting them or proving their legal violation of the Saudi regime

- More than 20,000 Yemeni detainees have undergone unfair trials on fabricated and malicious charges.

The Saudi regime issued summary rulings absent of all the basics of litigation, and this is a violation of their rights to a fair trial, freedom, safety and personal security.

- We received information about 50 expatriates who have been sentenced to decades of imprisonment and 20 expatriates who have been sentenced to death.

The Ministry has verified that the Saudi regime has detained between 300 and 500 expatriate women in Al-Kharj prison.

- The Saudi regime refuses to hand over the bodies of the executed to the families of the victims for burial in their home countries

The Saudi regime practices the most severe forms of physical and psychological torture against detainees and confiscates their money and property

Despite international reports condemning the Saudi regime, international complicity continues

We call on the International Red Cross to make more efforts to obtain the bodies of the victims who died in prisons as a result of torture and who were executed by the Saudi regime to bury them in their homeland.

The Security Council should form an independent and non-politicized committee to visit Saudi prisons, and investigate the crimes of the Saudi regime and all violations against Yemenis and non-Yemenis.

安全保障理事会は、サウジの刑務所を訪問し、サウジ政権の犯罪、イエメン人および非イエメン人に対するすべての侵害を調査する、独立した非政治化委員会を設立するべきである。
