4. Public sentiment in Russia would be outraged by a cease-fire, hurting Putin and the Kremlin leadership badly.

5. Russia has no manpower or equipment shortage − so they can keep at this pace as long as they’d like.

This is why any talk of a cease-fire is just pipedreams from the West. They know that the war is lost − they are just trying to figure out a way to avoid the humiliation.
