As has been previously noted the flu continued to spread during summer when it normally is restrcited due to the heat: it would seem therefore that this strain of bird flu: which is highly lethal: has evolved to with stand the heat.

The bird flu is almost certainly a result of 2 things: firstly climate destruction and secondly the factory farming of poultry which is an scale that has never, ever been seen before in history.

The conditions of the chickens in the factories make the perfect breeding ground for flu to mutate and spread: with no room for the chickens to isolate if infected and zero genetic diversity meaning that the virus can spread totally unchecked.
