Turkey-Backed Terrorists Continue Plundering Afrin's Historical Artifacts
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Ankara-Backed militants in Afrin in Western Aleppo still continue stealing the historical artifacts and usurping private properties, assets, farms and lands in the region, local sources reported on Thursday.
The sources said that the Ankara-backed Faylaq al-Awwal militants are plundering the artifacts in Cyrrhus (a city in ancient Syria founded by Seleucus Nicator, one of Alexander the Great's generals) known among Arabs as Nebi Huri castle in Northeastern Afrin.
They added that the commander of the terrorist group also monitors extensive excavation operations in the historical sites in the region, saying that the militants sell the artifacts in local and regional markets or transfer them to other regions.
Also, other reports said that the former commander of Faylaq al-Rahman terrorist group in Eastern Ghouta of Damascus has arrived at an agreement with the local council of Afrin to take control of a large mountainous area between Bastouleh and Afrin that is home to many villages later sell their control to other terrorists.
Relevant reports in August said that Ankara-backed militants continued damaging and plundering historical artifacts in Afrin region.
The Ankara-backed militant groups conducted excavation again in Afrin region in Northwestern Aleppo, destroying Nebi Huri and other historical sites in the region.
In the meantime, Director General for Antiquities and Museums of Syria Mahmoud Hammoud pointed to the major damage inflicted on Cyrrhus (Nebi Huri) that has been built in the fourth century BC, adding that the terrorists had ruined the pyramid-shaped mausoleum of Nebi Huri and built a cement building on top of it.

Ankara-Backed Terrorists Angry at Turkey for Reduction of Financial Aid in Al-Bab
TEHRAN (FNA)- Terrorists in the town of al-Bab in Northeastern Aleppo who are supported by Ankara are feeling angry at Turkey after the country did not supply them with financial aid and monthly salaries.
Sources affiliated to the terrorists in Northern Syria reported on Thursday that Faylaq al-Sham and National Liberation Front terrorists who are sponsored by the Turkish army in al-Bab have started complaints have Ankara didn't pay some militants and reduced salaries of some others.
They added that Faylaq al-Sham terrorists have not received their salaries for 5 months and some of them have received one fifth of their salary equal to 500 Turkish lira.
Meantime, reports said that a group of Faylaq al-Sham terrorists have attacked the house of a military commander of Liwa al-Maqawir, affiliated to Faylaq al-Sham, named Wasim Khabbaz and arrested him after internal differences among the militants in al-Bab increased.
Infighting among the militant groups has intensified in recent months in al-Bab.
Local sources reported last month that heavy clashes erupted between Ahrar al-Sharqiyeh and Ahrar al-Hasaka terrorists in al-Bab.
The Ahrar al-Hasaka terrorist group has just separated from Ahrar al-Sharqiyeh.
They added that the infighting killed and wounded a number of militants on both sides.
Meantime, heavy clashes erupted between the Ankara-backed al-Shaitat and a group of civilians in Northern Syria.

Infighting Increases among Terrorists in Idlib after Sochi Agreement
TEHRAN (FNA)- Infighting among Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) and National Liberation Front terrorists have increased, local sources in Northern Idlib reported, adding that the NLF has sent more military equipment to the region.
The sources said that Tahrir al-Sham and NLF terrorists engaged in clashes near the town of Zardana, adding that several militants of both sides as well as civilians were killed and wounded.
They added that the clashes erupted after Jeish al-Ahrar terrorists, affiliated to the NLF, detained a member of Tahrir al-Sham in the town.
according to reports, the NLF has dispatched a large military convoy to Zardana and Tahrir al-Sham terrorists have erected a large number of checkpoints across the town.
Also, a bomb-laden car was detonated near the town of Salqain in Northern Idlib, killing and wounding several people, including civilians.
Internal differences, insecurity and assassination operations have increased in Idlib province after Turkey and Russia agreed in Sochi on setting up a demilitarized zone in the region.
A senior terrorist commander and a number of militants were killed in a fresh round of clashes among rival groups in Idlib and Aleppo provinces on Tuesday.
Mohammad Rahal, a notorious commander of Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at was gunned down by unknown attackers in the village of Ma'ardabsah South of the town of Saraqib in Idlib.
In the meantime, a number of gunmen of the al-Turkistani Islamic Party were killed after unidentified raiders opened fire at them in the village of Ashtabraq in Jisr al-Shughour region in Western Idlib.
Meanwhile, unknown raiders attacked a base of Tahria al-Sham in al-Lairamoun in Northern Aleppo, killing four terrorists and seizing their weapons.

Militants Defecting SDF
TEHRAN (FNA)- Dozens of the Syrian Democratic Forces have defected the Washington-backed militia group in the past few days as attacks by unknown parties have increased against them in Raqqa.

Media activists in Raqqa reported on Thursday that the SDF's 'military police' has in the past two days detained at least 33 SDF militants who had left their posts in Raqqa city.

They added that a large number of SDF forces have defected recently.

Meantime, other reports said that an SDF militant was killed and a number of others were wounded after a grenade was thrown by unknown assailants at one of their checkpoints near the village of al-Sakir and Northern parts of Raqqa city.

Relevant reports said on Wednesday that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Raqqa were put on alert after unknown assailants increased their attacks against them.

Media activists reported that unknown gunmen attacked an SDF checkpoint in the village of Ayed near al-Tabaqah in Western Raqqa, killing and severely wounding 5 of them.

They added that the SDF forces were immediately put on alert after the attack and detained several people as suspects.

Also, one of the SDF forces was injured after an unknown assailant fired at a vehicle carrying the SDF militia in Tal Abyadh street in Raqqa city.

The sources said that insecurities and attacks against the SDF have increased in regions occupied by them, adding that the SDF has erected at least 15 checkpoints from Seif al-Dolah street and February 23 street to al-Batani square in Northeastern parts of Raqqa's center.
