Report Claims ISIL Convoy's Move to Deir Ezzur in Secret Agreement with US
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) claimed on Sunday that tens of ISIL members have left Badiyeh (desert) in Eastern Homs and entered terrorist-held regions in Deir Ezzur province based on an agreement with the US forces.

SOHR quoted a well-informed source as saying that tens of ISIL members left the terrorist group's convoy in al-Sukhnah Badiyeh and entered Deir Ezzur province individually.

The source further told SOHR that evacuation of ISIL terrorists from Eastern Homs to Deir Ezzur has been done by 12 vehicles in several stages, adding that the terrorists arrived in Deir Ezzur province on Saturday afternoon.

The source also told SOHR that the evacuation has most likely been done under on a secret agreement with the US-led coalition.

No independent source has yet confirmed the SOHR claim.

Reports said earlier today that The US military in Syria's Badiyeh has blocked the path of a convoy of gunmen and their family members en route to Deir Ezzur, the Lebanese Hezbollah said, accusing the US of hampering an evacuation deal with the ISIL.

The Hezbollah said in statement on Saturday that the US-led forces have stranded most of the convoy’s 17 buses in the Syrian Badiyeh (Desert) by destroying the road to Deir Ezzur.

“They are also preventing anyone from reaching them even to provide humanitarian assistance to the families, the sick and wounded and the elderly,” said a statement released by the resistance movement.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that the ISIL terrorist group sent a large volume of military equipment and ammunition to the Eastern province of Deir Ezzur to face the Syrian Army troops' devastating advances in Eastern Homs and Western Deir Ezzur,

The ISIL terrorists have been pulling back armored vehicles and munitions to Deir Ezzur city, the ministry's statement said.

"Daesh (ISIL) militants are not giving up their efforts to halt the advances of the Syrian troops by moving armored vehicles, off-road vehicles with mounted heavy machine guns, arms and ammunition to the Deir Ezzur region and by setting up new positions reinforced with artillery systems and mortars," the statement read.
