Trump told Shinzo Abe he’d ship 25 million Mexicans to Japan
President Donald Trump stunned his fellow world leaders at the G7 meeting when he said he would ship “25 million” Mexicans to Japan, which would result in Prime Minister Shinzo Abe losing his next election.

During the gathering in Quebec − which ended with Trump leaving early and refusing to sign the traditional joint communique − the president was talking about what he called Europe’s immigration problem when he turned his attention to the Japanese leader.

“Shinzo, you don’t have this problem, but I can send you 25 million Mexicans and you’ll be out of office very soon,” Trump said, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a senior EU official who was in the room.

The commander-in-chief also raised eyebrows when the subject turned to Iran and terrorism.

“You must know about this, Emmanuel, because all the terrorists are in Paris,” he told French President Emmanuel Macron.

“A sense of irritation with Mr. Trump could be felt, but everyone tried to be rational and calm,” the official told the paper.

Trump arrived late to the gathering, left early, and later attacked Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as “weak” after Trudeau said Canada would retaliate for tariffs on imported steel and aluminum imposed by the US.

While the president has insulted America’s longest allies, he had nothing but praise for brutal North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un after their brief sitdown later in the week, calling him “a very smart guy” and “a great negotiator.”

FARSNEWSが次のように伝えています。Saudi Arabia to Penalize National Team Footballers for Heavy Defeat by Russia

TEHRAN (FNA)- Members of Saudi Arabia’s national football team will face a disciplinary penalty for their crushing defeat by Russia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup opener, a media source said.

"We are very disappointed by the defeat. This result is totally unsatisfactory, because it does not reflect the true level of our preparedness," the Al-Youm Assabaa newspaper quoted the Saudi Football Federation Chief Adel Ezzat as saying

"Several players will face a penalty - goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Mayouf, striker Mohammad Al-Sahlawi and defender Omar Hawsawi," he added.

Chairman of the General Sport Authority Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh described the game as a "total fiasco" in a video address, posted on his Twitter page.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on Thursday with the opening match in the Russian capital of Moscow between hosts Russia and the national team from Saudi Arabia, which Russia won 5-0.

In its next game, Saudi Arabia is facing Uruguay in the Southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don on June 20.

May the strongest team win’: Putin meets Saudi crown prince ahead of World Cup opener
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman both wished success to the strongest team ahead of their nations meeting in the opening match of the World Cup in Moscow.

The two met in the Kremlin on Thursday, along with Russian Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak and his Saudi counterpart Khalid al-Falih. While the main goal of the meeting was to discuss a deal on crude oil production cuts, much focus was on the upcoming football game between the two national teams – the event bin Salman came to attend.

“I think you’ll understand, I cannot wish success to your team today. Let the strongest team win,” Russia’s president told the Saudi crown prince. “We stand for fair, open, beautiful sport. In any case, we’ll admire the skill and watch the game involving our players together.”

Bin Salman appeared to be more light-hearted about the game, stating that any result would actually contribute to relations between the two countries.

“As for today's meeting of our national teams – let the strongest win. No matter how the match ends, we will still be satisfied, because we, thanks to our joint work, are making progress in various areas. Even if we lose, we will bring political, economic negotiating capital to our country. If we win, it will add to our achievements,” bin Salman told Putin.

Following the official meeting, Putin and his Saudi guest proceeded to Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium to watch the opening game of the World Cup 2018.

アフガニスタンの豪軍がナチスの逆さ卍旗を掲げていた 豪軍のスキャンダルが次々に露見

Leaked picture of Australian soldiers flying Nazi swastika in Afghanistan sparks scandal (PHOTO)
A photo of a Nazi flag on an Australian military vehicle in Afghanistan has been condemned by the country’s PM and Jewish community, while its Defense Ministry says the soldiers responsible for the stunt have been “disciplined.”

Australian soldiers were caught flying the Nazi swastika flag from their vehicle while conducting a mission in Afghanistan as part of a NATO-force deployment back in 2007, according to ABC, which obtained an exclusive photo of the incident.

It is believed that that the picture was just one of many photographs that were reportedly being circulated among military personnel. The news outlet also saw a second picture of the military vehicle flying a swastika. Furthermore, two separate defense sources revealed the identity of the Aussie soldier who took the flag with him on overseas duty. The person's name was not shared with the public.

One of the defense officials told the channel that the Nazi ‘parade’ lasted for a “prolonged period” but was just a “twisted joke,” rather than an expression of neo-Nazism. The country's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, however, failed to agree with this viewpoint, calling the display “completely and utterly unacceptable.”

“It was reported [to officials] in 2007, that incident, and the flag obviously was removed and the personnel involved were disciplined,” he told reporters. “But the incident, it was wrong... it was absolutely wrong, and their commanders took action at the time.”

Australia’s defense department noted that, following the incident, the red swastika flag was destroyed, while those who witnessed the display received counseling.

“Defense and the ADF reject as abhorrent everything this flag represents. Neither the flag nor its use are in line with Defense values,” a Defense Ministry spokesman said in a statement. “The commander took immediate action to have the offensive flag taken down.”

The leaked picture was also condemned by the chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, Dvir Abramovich, as a “vile display” of bigotry. “The flying of the Nazi flag, the most evil symbol in the history of mankind, by our soldiers is a slap in the face to the Diggers who fought valiantly and died to defeat Hitler,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Aussie special ops 'disregarded humanity', committed 'horrendous' acts in Afghanistan – reports

Earlier this month, a secret defense report published by Fairfax Media revealed that elite Australian troops allegedly committed war crimes in by engaging in “unsanctioned and illegal application of violence on operations” with “a disregard for human dignity.”

Australian special forces ‘killed Afghan’, used his prosthetic leg as a cup
Australia’s elite special forces killed an unarmed Afghan amputee and brought his prosthetic leg back to SAS headquarters in Perth where it was used for drinking beer, according to an investigation from Fairfax Media.

The war crime allegation is one of several against the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) team deployed to Afghanistan.
Details of the incident, published in the Sydney Morning Herald, claim that an older man with a prosthetic leg was machine-gunned by a young soldier at a compound in the province of Oruzgan in 2009. The soldier was said to be incited by his comrades as part of a concept called ‘blooding rookies.’

The victim was considered part of the Taliban but posed no threat at the time of the shooting, according to the report, written by journalist Chris Masters who was embedded with SASR, and corroborated by special forces insiders.

The prosthetic leg was then brought back to Perth by the Australian forces, where it was allegedly used as a vessel to drink beer. A picture obtained by Fairfax showed the leg mounted onto a board reading “Das Boot”.

The soldier in question is also implicated in the killing of a handcuffed detainee during a SASR mission in the village of Darwan in 2012. He is accused of kicking a man off a cliff, badly injuring his face, before following requests from other soldiers to “get him out of his misery". The claims have been backed by special force insiders as well as the man’s family.

Fairfax, which carried out a six-month investigation into a string of alleged war crimes by members of SASR, did not identify the soldiers involved in its reports.

Australian Defence Forces are already conducting an inquiry into allegations of inappropriate and potentially unlawful behavior by its elite forces in Afghanistan. The two-year investigation is examining reports of possible war crimes committed by troops between 2005 and 2016. Despite this, Defence Force Chief Mark Binskin says he has no concerns about rogue elements in the elite unit.

米国のホワイトヘルメット支援 凍結と言った舌の根も乾かぬうちに再開

White Helmets: A tool for ‘regime change’ in Syria that’s too important to stop funding?
Washington’s decision to resume funding for White Helmets after a brief freeze highlights how important the controversial group is for the US-promoted regime-change agenda, journalists and Syrian conflict observers have told RT.

“The Pentagon planners have probably finally realized just how important the White Helmets are to the regime change operation,” Mike Raddie, co-editor of BSNews and an anti-war activist, told RT. “The fact that they have been so successful in proving fake imagery and fake evidence… just means that they can be relied upon whenever there is a need for a pretext for another missile attack or even a full-scale invasion.”

The anti-war activist recalled how the so-called Syria Civil Defence units, better known as the White Helmets, have been instrumental in the justification of the US strikes on Syria in April of 2017, and the trilateral strikes by the UK, France, and the US in April 2018.

The strikes, Raddie stressed, were all conducted as a hasty ‘retaliation’ against the Syrian government at times when the international community was horrified by fresh footage of alleged chemical incidents, conveniently provided by the likes of the White Helmets.

Calling the self-styled volunteer organization a clearly “belligerent party” with links to al-Qaeda terrorists, Raddie noted that the supposedly patriotic grassroots group has been actively calling for a “no-fly zone, which obviously means full invasion.” Thus, he believes, the State Department decided to release some $6.6mn in previously frozen funding for the group, just in case another pretext for a strike against Syria or a similar intervention is needed.

Meanwhile, Vanessa Beeley, an independent investigative journalist who has recently visited Syria, believes Washington never really intended to cut off the group’s funding. “The funding freeze largely was a fake funding freeze,” Beeley told RT. “The funding freeze, in my opinion, was actually a way to secure further and more diverse funding for the White Helmets.”

The investigative journalist pointed out that in April, after the US announced the freeze, Raed Al Saleh, Head of the Syria Civil Defence, the White Helmets, came to the US to receive an award at the Sedona Forum 2018, hosted by the McCain Institute for International Leadership. That event was attended by US top leadership, including Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, and John Mattis, Secretary of Defense.

While nothing official was announced, following that meeting the White Helmets were allegedly awarded contracts with Turkey and Qatar, Beeley said. Furthermore, she noted that British Prime Minister Theresa May pledged to maintain and even increase the funding for the White Helmets. “The British government has directly financed the White Helmets to the tune of almost 39 million pounds,” according to Beeley.

While the money is allegedly intended for the group to carry out its humanitarian work on the ground, Beeley, who has recently returned from East Aleppo and East Ghouta, says she could not find a single person to confirm that the White Helmets actually rescued civilians.

“I’ve heard that the White Helmets were there to work as agents for the terrorist groups, to help them when they are under attack by the Syrian Arab Army and their allies,” she stressed. Thus Beeley “strongly disputed” the State Department’s claims that the group saved some “100,000 lives” in Syria and has demanded proof to support that assertion.
